Thumbnail/screenshot of submissions

I currently use hnews.xyz, and have been using it for years. It has a lot of shortcomings, to be sure, but one thing I love is it has thumbnails of the posts shown as small multiples on the main list view. This shows what the pages look like, and makes it possible to skim the article contents from the main list view. The added depth of content from the main view eliminates most of the clicking I'd otherwise have to do. Looking at the thumbnails is one of the main ways I decide to open something or not. It especially helps if there is some leading graph, graphic, or screenshot of some showcased app, for example. You can see what sites seem more academic or more pop-sci. The posts themselves are often better than the HN headline at motivating me to read something.
